Let me start by saying, if you do not have a passion for what you are going to blog about then it is going to be a tough struggle.  I have seen a lot of bloggers, some of them close friends, start a blog with the intentions of making money online and giving up their normal jobs, only to get frustrated and throw it away when they are just about to see the results come through.  It may be cliche, but quiters never win and winners, never quite.

You see, I actually found the secret to ensuring you succeed online.  It does not have as much to do with Search Engine Optimisation, Google, PPC or even CPA methods as all the guru’s would make us believe.

They have to tell you this stuff so that they sound like the experts and know something you don’t, so you have to purchase their products.  Now, before that gets out of control, they are important and you need to know and implement these technique.   There is one thing they miss.

The real key to succeeding at making money through blog sites is, passion.  If you start with somthing you are passionate about and love then the result will naturally follow.  One of the first lessons I learnt from Bloggers Paycheck is that you must write and create pages for people first, then SEO etc, and if you write with passion, people will pick that up and you will great a loyal following.

When I first started out with trying to make money online I was involved with every single affiliate program out there, mainly network affiliate programs.  You know the type, sign up for this program and recruit X many people, build a team and you get a commission on how much your team buys etc.  Please!  That was not for me.

I kept going however, I knew that there was more then my 9-5 job that was actually more like a 7:00am-8:00pm job!  I kept looking to see what made other people on the internet successful.  I read heaps of stuff and signed up to anything and everything, spending a lot of money looking for MY answer.  I have not actually calculated the total amount that I have spent, but I 100% know that is was worth it, simply becuase of the experience and education I now have.

The only problem was however, once I went through all the courses there was one key missing, one thing that all the ‘how to make money’ online courses missed.  And that is…

Passion.
